YiLan, Milan

Hello, from my new home, YiLan 宜蘭. I'm at a resort across from Turtle (mountain) Island  龜山島. I love turtles, so it's a match made in heaven. This is the view from my room. 

Isn't it beautiful?  

And this is me with a stone turtle I found. I love turtles. Did I say that already?

It's so beautiful here. I can't emphasize it enough... I'm almost sad to have to go back to suburbia.

Some asian aunties are preserving vegetables here, by the ocean... On the sidewalk. Want some? 

Saw a beautiful lotus pond.  

Got to soak in the 溫泉 sulfur pond spa. Stank, but comfy. I know, it looks questionable. But it was worth it.  

Then I hit my first mosquito bite of the trip... Swells.  

Then we took a trip to the National Center for Traditional Arts. A bit under the weather and exhausted, but below are a few highlights by photo.
